Aloo Methi
A North Indian recipie with potatoes and methi leaves. I used here dry methi.Fresh methi can also be used same way.Poori,naan,bhatura are good combination.

Mutton Rogan Josh
A Kashmiri cuisine with kashmiri chilli,asafoetida ,cumin,curd,onion and other spices.
Mutton stew
A malabar cuisine made with mutton ,potatoes,spices in coconut milk.A good combination with any indian rotis.Mainly in calicut this is served with ghee rice or gothambu pathiri.
Velichenna Pathiri,Chicken Popcorn and Beef Roast
Its very interesting to browse about food when you are in 'fasting'.That was such a morning, in fasitng and browsing... I was digged in the middle of confusions about what to make for ifthar that evening.And finally decided to make chicken popcorn as a starter to my ifthar. I got an easy recipie for that.Any how i was having some boneless chicken in my freezer which is easy for me to make at the time.Then i made beef curry and velichenna pathiri.About velichenna pathiri...its one of the pathiri which my mom used to make with beef and liver roasts.Chopped shallots,cumin and grated coconut is mixed in the rice dough and fried in coconut oil.
Alhamdulillah....had a tasty food for the ifthar with a cup of tea...:D

Veggie Harvests
I was out of patience and went to the container containing carrot plants in our garden with cute carrot heads peeping out.Took out the carrots, expecting a big carrot underneath.But the three plants i took out gave me cute little carrots.One of it my son had as such.I was blinking at it thinking what to do with this.Then i made a porridge with rice , mixed gram powders and our organic fresh carrot for my little girl.She had a wonderful lunch.:D
Harvesting lot of tomatoes and green chillies these days.Cucumber,ashgourd, long beans and ladies finger also did great for some day's tasty food.
This is the second bittergourd in my plant.Its a tiny one but beautiful....
My chilli plants are crazily giving me yields...masha allah..

This is moringa plant,a magical- nutritious plant.This can be easily grown here.One of my friend gave me this.I thank her for this as i love this leaf fry very much.
